Maintenance Schedule
It is highly recommended to schedule your pets appointment frequently. 95% of our clients pre book multiple appointments in advance as well for the year. Due to the nature of this type of scheduling, there may not be room to adjust or modify your appointment after they have been set. Please schedule your appointments accordingly to avoid missing appointments. We only accept clients who is on a eight week or less grooming schedule.
Matted Coat
Mats form when the coat is not properly maintained by not brushing and combing on a regular basis. If the mats cannot be removed due to tightness on the skin, a shave down will be necessary to safely and humanly remove them. Excessive matting can be avoided with regular grooming appointments. We will de-mat your pet (if possible) at $2 per minute (minimum $10) in addition to the regular grooming fee. If a shave down is necessary there is an additional fee, price reflects on duration of matting removal.
The Luxe Dog is not liable for any injury that may occur during the matting removal process, nor will we be held liable for the condition of your pet’s skin after the matting is removed. Matting and extra brushing fees may be added to the overall service cost and must be paid during pick-up.
